Fun for everyone!
Challenge yourself and have a go at Rock Climbing. The Lake District is the birthplace of Rock Climbing offering some of the finest climbing in the UK. This half-day rock climbing experience is for those who have never been climbing before or for those wanting a taste of outdoor rock climbing. During this session you'll learn the basics of movement on rock, making your way to the top safety attached to a tight rope. You'll also be taught the basics of belaying under the supervision of our friendly instructors. The venue is situated in a gently elevated location giving stunning views of the Langdale valley

We provide all the necessary safety equipment and instruction so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy the adventure! 

We take photos and send them to you FREE at the end so you will have memories you'll remember forever.

Age 6 upwards. An average level of fitness is required for this activity.
Duration: 3hrs

What to bring: 

• Clothes for the weather including waterproofs and warm layers as the weather can change very quickly in the mountains. (This crag is high up so if its windy you'll need a windproof or warm jacket) 
•  A pair of sturdy trainers or walking boots for the walk in. 
• Snacks and drink if you wish.
• Medication. 
• Parking money or you can use your National Trust members card if you have one.

Please note, you will need to remove any jewellery, especially rings.

We will meet you in the car park. It is a short 10-minute walk from there to the crag.
