Highlights
Have you ever wanted to go to a natural formed waterpark?
If so, Ghyll scrambling is the activity for you! There is a reason why this is the most popular activity in the Lake District!
When you arrive you will be equipped with a Wetsuit, several layers of clothing, waterproofs, buoyancy aid and a helmet.
Once equipped you will then do the 20-minute walk to the top of the Ghyll learning some history about the valley along the way! Before the fun can begin, our instructors will introduce the safety method of scrambling, jumping and sliding required to safely make your descent down the Ghyll.
Then it is into the water, scrambling through pools, down waterslides and even jumping off waterfalls!
With Newlands so close, the session can be timed to suit the prevailing weather, so it is only a short walk back to the drying room and changing facilities!
